A good friend of mine once said,

When a guy says to his ‘future ex-gf’ WE ARE DONE. What he’s saying is that, ‘I just need space’
But, When a girl says to her ‘future ex-bf’ WE ARE DONE. She really did mean what she said.

Is this true? Guys, gals? I don’t know how accurate this is, but I’ve witnessed it. Guys would break up with their girlfriends, but later on they would go run after their ex’es, while gals when they say, ‘WE ARE DONE’, Boy, you better believe it. You and her.. are DONE.

Last Sunday Night I listened to our pastors message. He preached on Romans 6. What specifically stood out to me was verse 11.

So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. - Romans 6.11

How powerful and how true is this verse in our lives? Are we really declaring it in our daily walk with God that we are fully dead to our old self/sins and that we are alive to God and living for God because of Christ Jesus?

I have to admit, I have my days where I like the idea of righteousness, more than I desire to live a righteous life.
I like the idea of purity, more than I desire to live a pure life.
I like the idea of being a Godly Man, more than I desire to become more like a Man of God.
I like the idea of Worship, more than I desire to live a worshipful life. A life that’s full of constant offering and sacrifices to God through my actions.
I like the idea of being a Christian, more than I desire to die to my self everyday so that I can be like His Son Jesus Christ, everyday.

We need a reality check folks. I know God did it to me last Sunday Night. Having all these knowledge without applying them.. is pointless. To continue in sin and abuse God’s grace and say, ‘I have freedom in Christ, He gives me grace, He will forgive me, therefore, I can just continue in sin.’ , - Well let me tell you, you are LOST my friend. Pray for a revival in your heart.

Being a Christian is not only just making all these decisions, but to make every decisions rooted in a burning DESIRE to please and glorify God. You are no longer slaves to SIN. When Christ died on the cross and He rose from the grave He did it all. When you put your faith in Christ, you DIED to your sins as well and you are no longer slaves to sin, but slaves to righteousness.

Just like relationships. If you know you’re in a bad relationship, but your flesh wants to stay with that person, but you know that it has to COME TO AN END, it’s hard isn’t it. But you know it has to be done. Because something better is coming and you have to be patient and be wise. Breaking up with old sins, habits, patterns, routiness and saying, ‘I AM DONE WITH SIN’ is a hard choice to make, but it’s needs to be done. Because only then we can be fully free from the bondage of SIN and start embracing our new identity in Christ. Saved & Redeemed.

Check your heart, Let God speak to you and desire Him more than anything in this world, then He will show you His glory and majesty and will use every bit of you for His glory.

I can’t wait to pray, fast, drink coffee, eat carelessly, watch movie, sleep in till we are both late for work, cooking together, make you breakfast in bed, you making me breakfast in bed, drive our first car, live in our first home, raise our own family, seeking God together as a family,

I can’t wait to experience trials & suffering with you, grow close together with God.

I can’t wait to hold you close to me at night. Till we fall asleep.

I can’t wait to give you my ALL, everything of me to you.

I can’t wait to lay myself down for you, just as Christ laid down His life for me.

I long and desire for you my beloved.

I can’t wait to meet you and spend the rest of my earthly days with you. 

I can’t wait to love you. 

I can’t wait to show you this letter in the future when we finally meet.

Nakakalungkot isipin na itong once in a lifetime gift sa buhay ng isang tao ay nawawalan na ng halaga. Modernong mundo at maka-modernong tao, iyan ang in-na-in sa panahon natin ngayon. Mga babaeng naka-panty at bra na lamang ang suot na napapanood ng iba na naipapalabas sa telebisyon, minsan mga lalaking walang saplot sa katawan. Maging sa internet na siyang dahilan din ng mga ganitong gawain.

Mahilig akong magmasid sa labas ng bahay. Sa kalsada, sa nasasakyan kong jeep, LRT, o kung saan saan pa. Napapatanong nalang ako sa sarili ko kung bakit may mga ganitong babae na paigsian yata ng suot na shorts ang uso sa panahon ngayon. At kung sino halos kita na ang kaluluwa o mas kita ang balat, siya ang pinaka-maganda. Okay sana pero natanong ko rin sa sarili ko na, bakit sila magagalit sa mga lalaking accidentally na mapapatingin sa kanila? Hindi ba’t kasalanan din ng mga babaeng kagaya nila? Simple lang naman yan eh.. Kung ayaw mong mabastos, wag kang magsusuot ng kabastos-bastos sa paningin ng mga makasalanang mata ng iba.

Minsan gusto kong mainis sa mga nakikita ko. Lalo na kung katawan ng babae ang nakikita ko. Oo masarap tingnan para sa mga lalaking na uhaw sa laman kasi ikaw ba naman makakita ng isang babaeng halos wala ng saplot sa katawan eh ewan ko lang kung hindi ka manigas diyan. Pero bilang isang kristiyano, hindi sana ganito ang mga tao :|

Karamihan ngayon sa lalaki, kaya naghahanap ng kapareha o girlfriend ay ito ang habol. Lalo na kung virgin pa ang isang babae. Gustong maranasan ang kakaibang bagay na minsan lang nila gagawin sa buong buhay nila pero ang minsan ay nagiging madalas kaya nakakatakot. Naaawa ako hindi lang sa mga babae, pati narin sa mga lalaking hindi na virgin. Kasi, naniniwala parin ako na kailangan mo lang ibigay ang sarili mo doon sa taong makakatuluyan mo at hindi ka iiwan sa hirap at ginhawa, yun ang magiging asawa mo.

Nakatanggap ka na ba ng regalo na nakabukas na ng ibinigay sa’yo? Halimbawa, binigyan ka ng Boyfriend/Girlfriend mo ng chocolates/candies na nakabukas na, anong magiging reaksyon mo? Hindi ka ba magtataka o magtatanong sa kanya kung bawas na ba yun o natikman na ng iba bago mo makain?

Isa pang halimbawa, kapag sa toothbrush, what if galing ka ng school at pag-uwi mo sa bahay ay naalala mo bigla na nakalimutan mo palang itago ang sarili mong toothbrush at naisip mong baka nagamit na ‘to ng ibang tao sa bahay niyo. Diba mandidiri ka ng gamitin ‘to lalo na kung alam mong nagamit na ng iba?

Ang virginity, isang once in a lifetime na regalo yan sa lahat ng tao. Once na naibigay mo na ‘yan, hindi mo na ‘to pwedeng bawiin. Kahit magparetoke ka pa, wala ng saysay. Lahat tayo binigyan ni God ng regalong ‘yan. The gift of Virginity. Yun nga lang nasa atin na mismo kung iingatan ba natin o hindi. Sa panahon ngayon, kaunting pambobola lang ni Boyfriend at Iloveyou, bumibigay na. At pag nangyari na, iiyak-iyak at nagsisisi na raw. Nakakainis lang isipin na isa tong regalo ng Diyos na hindi natin kayang ingatan, minsan inaabuso pa.
